On Tuesday, February 7, 2023 Kristin Mattson, Chief Clinical and Development Officer for Care Central VNA & Hospice, Inc. represented the agency and industry at the State House in Boston. She participated with Home Care Alliance of MA President, Jake Krilovich and Home Care Alliance of MA Director of Legislative Affairs, Harrison Collins.
The briefing discussed two bills before the legislature. The first proposes an act clarifying rate-setting processes for home health and home care services, which was introduced by Senator Pat Jehlen and Representative Carmine Gentile. The second proposes an act to improve Massachusetts Home Care, via State licensure requirement, which was introduced by Representative Michael Moran and Senator Pat Jehlen.
